Biography
Paul brings experience from many careers and walks of life. From his days of training professional service dogs, he understands the power of positive reinforcement and serving a greater good. From his thirteen years of teaching and coaching, he knows how to support and guide pre-teens, teens, and early adults. From his years running a small farm, he understands the importance of planning, structure, and preparation.
In each of those careers, Paul has succeeded, stumbled, learned., and grown. He has the personal experience and understanding to help you or your child identify and strive for goals.
Education
Paul graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English and from Middlebury College and Columbia’s Teachers College with a Master’s in English and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, respectively. He also works with a Georgia Tech psychology laboratory on educational research.
Approach
Paul focuses on helping understand that struggles can often be overcome with new skills or approaches. By learning to resolve challenges, clients can see that they are capable of much more than ever realized.
